In January, Riverside Hip Hop Session had its first international collaboration with the KWAAI Hip Hop

Organisation from Sweden. This was a culture clash with a plethora of the best artist from Sweden and SA. taking place at Willies Tavern next to the Juskei River East Bank, it was a truly unforgettable experience.
taking to the stage on the day of the show were artists Dirty Jens, Kristin Amparo, Mofeta, Jerre and Adam Tensta, all from Sweden. Represting Alexandra was Twigga Mension, @ LEE, Mlindast, Jovislash and Discypal. Special guest Zubz came to show his love to the movement and the audience was in for a treat with a performance from Zeus.

Black Delinga from Cape Town brought the crouwd to a halt with his soulful colllaboration with Zeus and Rantoboko from Zimbabwe. The show was a first of its kind or Riverside Sessions, showing a great amount of growth for the movement as it has been on the hustle for the past 10 years.

The international collaboration between KWAAI and Riverside Sessions has portrayed growth for local sessions across the townships in Mzansi. Riverside Sessions is currently Alexandra's hub and serves as a platform for up coming artists such as Jovislash and Discypal the flame thrower, who defeated Projektah on "Scrambles For Money''
